Customer service needs work. Michael was so awful from the beginning. When making a deal he said “I don’t do back and forth” as if negotiations are illegal at car dealerships especially if a vehicle is used, high mileage and has been in an accident. When I decided to pull out due to the numbers changing (over a $1,000) when about to sign, Micheal slammed the book and stormed out. And no, don’t say it was taxes because that was already included. Very uncomfortable experience here at Bayside Volkswagen. Wish I had continued to do the deal with the manager instead of Micheal who’s attitude got even nastier when the price was dropped by the manager. Almost took home my dream car ! But the temperament of your sales person and how they treat you as a person matters! He even compared my credit score to his brother in law saying “his credit score is pretty bad and his interest was still not as high as yours”. Needs more training on customer service skills. Very uncomfortable working with him and I did not feel safe putting my money here. Even if I found the same deal or higher elsewhere, something gave me a bad gut feeling. Trust your instincts and change salesmen if you feel mocked, judged or disrespected. Front desk, Kyle was polite and understanding when I expressed my concerns about my refund being disregarded and not processed at all when asked a week prior.

Our rep, Crystal, was incredibly supportive and as helpful as she could be, given the circumstances. I was given a loaner car while I waited for the work to be completed. The reason I gave a lower than perfect rating is that I was without my car for 3 weeks. I had to call Service several times to get a status, which was less than desirable. I left several messages asking when the car would be ready and received text messages with little information.

I would give a negative star review if possible, but the minimum is 1, so guys can be proud of how terribly you treated me when I walked into a dealership. No one welcomed me and after a few mins, I looked into a few cars. Then some clown from the back came over and wrote down my phone number but never called. That's too bad because despite the casual clothes I wear and my age, I'm actually the kind of wealthy clients you should be aiming for. As a result I will never buy anything from not only your terrible, social-skill deprived dealership, but from your German masters including your plastic Porsche's (before you comment, yes I can afford any model). Soon after I visited, I bought not 1 but 2 cars (in cash may I add) from a non-VW dealership that showed me some respect. I wasn't asking for much but even your salespeople can't overcome this very low bar.
